SUSTAINABILITY

What makes your brand sustainable?

I always design with sustainability as a primary focus.

All of the fabrics used are sustainable. Both collections have been consciously created with sustainability at the forefront, and therefore both have been created with eco-friendly fabrics.

All fabrics for future collections will also always be sustainable. 

Our packaging and branding is also sustainable. 

How do you choose the fabrics?

I extensively research which sustainable fabrics will be suitable for our designs.

I only use ethical fabric suppliers recommended by the fibre producer.

I will always be completely transparent with you regarding the composition of the fabric. There's no greenwashing here!

Do you use sustainable packaging?

Yes, all of our packaging is sustainable.

The swing tags are made from both the renewable resource bamboo and also post-consumer office waste paper.

The outer packaging is also recyclable and compostable.

The thank you notes are plantable. 

Why do you plant 5 trees per order?

Giving back is an extremely important ethos to our brand.

Trees are not only a crucial part of our ecosystem, but the areas that we plant trees are being ruined by deforestation and affecting humans and animals that live there. 

On a personal level, and as a brand, I want to help towards reforestation in any way that I can by replanting trees in areas greatly affected by deforestation. 

ETHICS

What makes your brand ethical?

Ensuring that people are not harmed and are paid fair wages throughout the process is extremely important to me.

I extensively research the manufacturers and suppliers that I work with and ensure that they are ethical. 

I either liaise with the fibre producers themselves, so I know exactly where the fabric comes from and that it has been made ethically and sustainably. 

Or, I work with independent suppliers here in the UK. 

For the first collection that was made in Greece, I ensured that it was an ethical factory.

For the second collection, I am working with an independent female business owner here in the UK, who pays herself a fair living wage. Thus, representative of the cost of the garments to sell, due to the cost that they are to make. 

I will not buy from/ work with companies who do not adopt ethical practises.

 

PRODUCT

Do you have a size guide?

Yes, we have an individual size guide for each style.

All size guides are included within the product description.

How will I know when there are new releases?

All new collection drops will be released to our email subscriber list first.

We will then release the collection to our various social media platforms.

Therefore, please make sure that you are subscribed to our mailing list, and follow all of our social media platforms for updates. 

 

ORDER ISSUES 

Can I cancel / amend my order once my order has been placed?

I will try my best to amend your order. 

However, if the order has already been packaged and sent out to you, I am unable to make any changes.

Please make sure to contact me as soon as possible at hello@viridy.com, so that I  can try to meet your requests.

Can I amend my shipping address once my order has been placed?

Once an order has been placed, I am unable to change the shipping address.

Please note that I am only able to send the order out to the shipping address provided, so please double check before placing your order. 

Why haven't I received my tracking information?

I automatically provide a tracking number once an order has been placed.

If you cannot see this in your normal inbox, please check your junk folder.

If you still have not received the tracking number, please email hello@viridy.com and I will be more than happy to help! 

I've already returned my item. When will I receive my refund?

As per our returns policy, once we have received your item and assessed whether it has been unworn and unused, we will process your refund immediately. 

Your refund should be with you within 3 - 5 working days.

 

DELIVERY

When will I receive my order after it has been placed?

For orders from DROP I - I will aim to send out all orders within 1 working day.

For orders from DROP II - Due to these being handmade to order there is a 2-4 week lead time.

Once I have your order, if you are in the UK, your delivery will be within you within 3 working days.

International orders may take longer, depending on where they are to be sent. 

Which delivery service do you use for the UK?

We use Royal Mail for all UK orders.

Which delivery service do you use for Europe and International Orders?

We use a variety of registered couriers for deliveries outside of the UK.

You will be notified which courier will be delivering your order, once your order has been processed. 

Do you ship to PO Boxes?

Unfortunately, we do not ship to PO Boxes at this present time. 

Do you pay for international customs and duties?

Unfortunately, we are unable to pay for international customs and duties.

Due to countries having different customs charges, we highly recommend that you contact your local customs office to find out the charges. 

Please note that you will not always be required to pay customs charges. However, we just like to make you aware of the possibility, so that you do not receive any unexpected costs.
