ETHICS

Where are the clothes made?

All of the pieces for the first collection were ethically made by a family run manufacturers in Greece, Europe. They were an ethical factory and OEKO-TEX certified.

Moving forward, from DROP II onwards, they will be handmade to order in the UK.

Why did you move production back to the UK?

It was always my initial goal to produce in the UK. However after extensively research, I couldn't find the right place to produce the first collection.

Fortunately, for the next collection and future collections, I have been able to find an ethical seamstress based in the UK who will be making the items for me moving forward.

Are you cruelty free?

Yes, we are 100% cruelty free and do not use any animal products or bi-products in our brand.

We greatly oppose any form of animal cruelty and priorities animal welfare, which is part of the reason as to why planting trees to rebuild the habitats for certain species is important to us.

Do you have a Modern Slavery Policy?

Yes we do, you can view the full policy here.

Please be assured that VIRIDY is inherently against any form of slavery, and ensures that any suppliers used are ethical and hold ethical certifications to ensure the best possible working conditions for their employees.
